Today in Pictures Its a nice day but still muddy under foot.

1. It looks like Jackhouse Reservoir is getting the repair.
2. The Res. from the left bank.
3. Common Earthball, bursting, burst, busted.
4. I'm rownry, so rownry.
5. I could be anywhere, in fact where am I?
6. Ive got a bit of wind.
7. The cycle goes on.
8. I'm getting a nose bleed this high up.
9. Another clump.

Those windtwistles are visible from almost every location in the borough, I didn't think they would be so prominent.

and not just in hyndburn ... these were took from haslingden sports centre on friday ....

I also saw my only red squirrel up in the Lake District. Those wind farm mills are awful - but would you rather have more Nuclear Power Stations? Or get out the EU? Apparently Tony Blair signed a deal which means we have to generate a certain amount of energy from Wind farms under EU law - so now they are putting them up everywhere.

Now I have learned why I should never walk the canal without my camera just missed great footage of swans chasing away others are they geese? Never seen a swan fly like that wow
