Actually Len, it's the work of my eldest son. He lives over there in Tarleton nr. Southport.
I wouldn't have a clue where to start. It's just that I was the drummer in the group and my son knows all the other guys who played in it so he offered to construct it for us. |

I was only ten years old when we left Baxenden to go to live in Southport. So I didn't really have an option, my parents considered me too young to branch out on my own! The reason we moved was that my father, who was a foreman at Broad Oak, bought a hardware shop in Southport and went into business for himself.
You're right, Southport is a lovely town but has been taken over by the yob culture making it unsafe to walk along Lord Street after dark. How very, very sad! |
