Well, I was out and about so couldn't avoid it.
Saying that, it looks like many folk who didn't really want to watch it, were impressed with what they saw of it.

John you must be a canny lad then, because although I tried my best to avoid it(see my blog) I still managed to catch a glimpse or two......involuntarily.

And there was no chance of avoiding it...

a lot of brides lose weight on the run up to the big day......my sister lost a stone, without trying....her dress had to be taken in about three times.......she made up for it after the wedding...put...

we were in Accrington about 10.30 this morning, it was dead.
I think everyone was in the Capital...or at home glued to their TV sets.
I haven't been able to avoid the celebrations...

I'm sure the wedding will be good for the Capital and the surrounding areas......bringing in much needed revenue via tourists, (who will pay through the nose for everything) and I guess the filming...

It would give him a flavour of how some of us think....though I seriously doubt that it would make a blind bit of difference to his...

Yes, in that respect, Tealeaf is right........we are a third world borough.

Spending money on irrelevancies, like this wedding, is just irresponsible.

You are right......we can't afford a knees up......if we can't afford a public convenience, then how can we afford a celebration?

So Hyndburn buying a few fireworks is going to boost the national...

Maybe the people of Hyndburn didn't get asked.......so who knows what would be the outcome if they were?

I think there must be many folk who think that frivolous spending should be reined in,...
