Well, I was out and about so couldn't avoid it.
Saying that, it looks like many folk who didn't really want to watch it, were impressed with what they saw of it.

John you must be a canny lad then, because although I tried my best to avoid it(see my blog) I still managed to catch a glimpse or two......involuntarily.

Shaz, she says the only way she would lose a stone now would be to get her leg fast in a revolving door....she's at that 'funny' age. :D

a lot of brides lose weight on the run up to the big day......my sister lost a stone, without trying....her dress had to be taken in about three times.......she made up for it after the wedding...put...

we were in Accrington about 10.30 this morning, it was dead.
I think everyone was in the Capital...or at home glued to their TV sets.
I haven't been able to avoid the celebrations...

I'm sure the wedding will be good for the Capital and the surrounding areas......bringing in much needed revenue via tourists, (who will pay through the nose for everything) and I guess the filming...

You are right......we can't afford a knees up......if we can't afford a public convenience, then how can we afford a celebration?
