I have a single or two by The Pleasers. A bit Beatlesque weren't they? Can't remember the titles, but I think one has 3 tracks on it. I'll have to dig them out sometime.

I saw Shabby Tiger about 3 times at The Regent (mid 70's or thereabouts) and saw them once at The Sett End, around the same time. Hendy Gibson lived around the corner from my mum for a lot of years,...

I do remember seeing Streetfighter. The name John Sykes rings a bell too. That other band I mentioned 'Forever' did a lot of Doobie Brothers stuff and old Stax / Atlantic covers. The lead...

I've just spent a very entertaining hour reading all the posts. Brilliant stuff. I'm just 52, so don't remember any of the bands mentioned, though I'm sure I will have seen many of you play in later...
