Re: the BIG three tonight

Live questions?

You're having a laugh.

Live applause might be a start.

'The rules are that an audience member asks a preselected question. Each of the leaders replies in turn for a minute,...

Re: the BIG three tonight

Re: the BIG three tonight

Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with injecting the odd bit of humour into a thread that's got bogged down in seriousness.

It does become a little tiresome to wade through a thread,...

Re: the BIG three tonight

Re: the BIG three tonight

Re: the BIG three tonight

Hell's bells.

Your Conservative soap boxers in those days must have been mind numbingly boring, and certainly didn't know how to hold much of a crowd.

Considering the fallow period, between...

Re: the BIG three tonight

Probably more interesting to watch, to see how policies are defended in an unscripted interview, will be watching Paxman.

Interestingly now Brown's agreed to appear on Newsnight, with the...

Re: the BIG three tonight

Exactly, daft.

Political pundits tell us now that the British public wouldn't accept a bald or receeding P.M., and if you think about recent elections they seem to be right.

It's all very...

(Was posting a reply when there was a power cut last night!)

The only person anyone can really trust is themselves.

After that there's degrees of trustworthiness.

I shall base the...

Re: the BIG three tonight

I've posted before, but the best political performer of all time, in giving people what they thought they wanted, and exciting a nation, was Hitler.

As I stated, for me it's not how something's...

Re: the BIG three tonight

Well personally I give my trust in the party/person who has the best policies.

I won't be basing my decision on who can look, and act, the most honest.

Re: the BIG three tonight

Some of the best politicans this country ever produced wouldn't have been telegenic enough to attain power today.

Even Churchill wouldn't have made the selection stages to be a M.P., having a face...

Re: the BIG three tonight

I just think it's hilariously sad, that as a country, we've now become so obsessed with media performance. In exactly the same way America has been for the last fifty years.

There have been no new...

Re: the BIG three tonight

I thought Britain's Got Talent didn't start until Saturday?

Did any of them break down in show bizzy tears?

I didn't watch it.

Ok, I briefly channel hopped, when the ads came on Country...
