I am truly AMAZED as to why this lovely looking property was given Planning Permission to be DEMOLISHED. Anyone know why?

But this is a "re submission" - they were NOT given planning permission before, now new plans mentioning 3 storey buildings have materialised. This has been a quiet "back water" for goodness knows...

Can I just say I found this comment rather interesting. The Grimshaw mentioned used to live in Owl Hall! This architects was originally on Willow Street, almost facing the steps of the Mechanics...
