not so Margaret...although part of the same family, Phalacrocorax carbo is the Comorant....were as Phalacrocorax aristotelis is the Shag! (I do like saying that) ;)

most likely a Cormorant.....but then it could be the
Phalacrocorax aristotelis (Shag)
