Just had a look at the woman who won in the Observer and I am quite shocked she won as she isn't particularly good looking at all, and the comments suggesting she isn't a barbie seem particularly odd...

Fake tan, fake nails, fake hair... though most good salons use 100% human hair imported from places like India so it's not necessarily fake until they put the bleach on it.

I never questioned their morals, just their choice of publication. The local newspaper is a bit of an odd choice for modelling underwear/swimwear for a competition.

To be honest, the whole thing has had endless amounts of negative comments and letters to the observer about it, so I don't see why my one possible negative comment about it matters that much anyway....

I don't buy the observer, but I have a look at it when I am in the chippy or whatever just to see if I know any of the girls, as most are around me age. I recognise a few but the competition clearly...
