As a trad jazz lover I liked Humph, still have several 78’s, numerous CD’s and spent many evenings at his jazz club in London back in the fifties. In those days, as a serviceman in uniform, there was no charge to get in.
“I’m Sorry I Haven't a Clue” was one of the funniest radio programmes ever.
Humph will be missed but his music will live on and it wouldn’t surprise me if aunty Beeb brought out compilations of “I’m Sorry I Haven't a Clue”.
