Hi few more details for anyone interested.

"The excavation around the site of Arden Hall takes place between the 9th and 29th July. The excavation is free. There are two options for involvement; you can either dig as part of a core group with the professionals during the week or drop in at one of the open days on the 14th or 21st July.

As part of the core group you will be able to take part fully in the excavation and learn a range of skills from surveying, recording and excavation techniques working alongside Oxford Archaeology North. If you are already an experienced digger then please come along and share your skills. The excavation is open to all levels of knowledge and skill and we hope it will be a fun experience for all involved. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee good weather".
