somthing people may find a use for
dunno if it should be posted here as its sorta technical but may get overlooked in the sub forums and may may of use to some people
http://s13.yousendit.com/ It allows you to send any kind of file which is up to 1 gig in size. It's free and reliable and you can send the link to any email. Then the person can download it from the link. Files will stay on their system for 7 days very usefull if you have a small email inbox and want to send high quality pics to friends and family etc |

It sounds good at first glance doesn't it chav? The main snag with it is that you have to keep their window open whilst it's uploading and that can take hours. You can't even just leave the window open and browse elsewhere or do other things at the same time.
There is no ongoing indication of how far along you are. It just tells you when you're done. "Computer Active" have also reported that it isn't always reliable so if you do use it to send something it's best to check with the recipient if they received the whole thing or not.

I just tried that out with a fairly small file and it was quick, very easy and possible to follow progress. Looks worth keeping.

Also look at www.streamload.com Limited upload/download for free, quite cheap to buy extra bandwidth.
