Not really old jaysay, but if the winter cold payments go above 72 I have no need to worry. In my head I am still only 22 though and earning my general service medal. Bring it on Makarios.

Well must agree with you Gremlin, I still feel like a youngster, in my mind, its only when I go in the bathroom every morning to shave that I look in the mirror and say who the hell is the old bloke looking at me from the mirror:D

Yes it comes as a shock to me as well jaysay, especially after a few pints of Stella the night before, oh and a glass of Glayva for a night cap.
We never learn do we.

I got mixed up with a few old codgers in my one and only visit to the Tanpits club one afternoon and they FORCED 6 pints of Kronenburg 1664 down me, but for my wife telling me what a mess I looked two days after I wouldn't have remember much.

Obviously I am a weak willed when it comes to the consuming of alcohol but I did try to resist for as long as it took to answer yes to the question "Will you have another one Grem" to which I replied meekly "Yes, if you insist".

I tried telling that to my wife but she happened to be in the club with me.
She told me the taxi driver thought he had lost a passenger on the way home but realized I had slid down onto the floor of the car.

Do you know that in about 1947 I got a certificate for writing an essay about the evils of alcohol and the effects on the human body, a few years later I thought "If it is so bad let me get at it".
Take heed all you who enter the portals of the evil establishments selling the nasty grog.
