was also known as the old house at home i think i knew it as the corners when joe mcguiness had it in the 80s

Coincidence or what ? Got chatting to my friend's window cleaner (as you do). He lives in these premises on Chequers and his wife's grandmother was the Landlady there .. name of Dot Gross.

Dot Cross!!! i remember her, she used to make me beefburgers in buns full of fried onions while I was having a beer. ( Too young to be in really:blush8:)
I think I was about 17 at the time. I used to stagger out of there at some late hours
