A good bit over halfway as it's Feb - four sevenths gone - but then we do have a leap day to add on...

Sorry more grumbles but getting a bit fed up with the quiz site again.

Went on the site just after 9.30, still down for aintenance. Ten minutes later, refreshed the page, didn't take me to the home page as it usually does but straight in to the quiz, saying timing had started. Dashed off my answers as I didn't know how long it had been timing and didn't want a repeat of the other day. Fortunately a good score and good time but could have been otherwise...

Anyway well done Di and Dave for 10 so far.

It would be very sad if I were to finish first this month because of Mancie's hols and not by my own efforts. not saying this will happen of course but I'm still bitter about losing that big lead the other day.

Perhaps you should ask Steve2qec to post his poetry quiz... he tried it out on me and I was impressed. Warning though -I couldn't stop until I had all the answers!

You may have seen my comment in the shout box today:

more repeat questions... and a truly banal one

The latter are the worst from the point of view of timingas you have to read the question more than once to decide whether they really are asking something so trivial or whether there's a hidden meaning. :eek:
