I've made it through to the semi-final in tournament 37, and today scored 19/20, which gave me 1826 points, so fingers crossed I get through.:rolleyes:

Well I somehow made it through to today's final, and scored 1411, so am not very hopeful of winning.

The person I played in the quarter final sent me a note offering their congratulations.

Who said Americans don't have good manners!:D

Finally coming to the end of another round in the Global Challenge. I for one am looking forward to it ending.

Now, if Rindy would leave me alone in all the other trivia games. I just ccan't shake that bloke!:p

I've just scored my best ever time in the hourly History quiz, 10/10 in 24 seconds. I was really chuffed...until four nerds came along and topped my score.:D

Whoo-hoo!

I've won this week's Knockout (34).

It was funny, because the other week, when my internet was down, I received a phone call from Gran Canaria saying I'd been drawn against my friend Don in the first round, and he got through because I was a no show. Weird, considering there are over 3/4 of a million people playing.

Will be glad when Global Challenge starts again, as I've started to have withdrawl symptoms, after a month off.

It's just the luck of the draw, about who you play against, and the questions you are asked.

I always check the person I'm playings profile, and am pleased if they aren't American, because we'll both be on equal footing in not knowing the U.S. biased questions.:D
