Playing just in the Global Trivia is fairly easy with my schedule: ~8 a.m., then at 1 p.m., and finally at 9 p.m. Evene with all that, I believe I played less than 400 games that the top folks play. Mostly due to not playing the bonus Impssible as well as they 5 day trip to England.
I did beg my bruv Rindy to let me play over there but he properly did not enable me:p and helped me break the addiction (until I got back home!).

Interesting point. I only came in like 13th place on that team I'm on. Still not sure why they recruited me as I'm not a big fan of classical music and really don't know what "mensa" is all about. Always thought it was a bunch of Harvard/Oxford snobby folks!

As most of you know, the new Global Challenge starts on Wednesday. It helps to get in at the earlies stage as you then feel part of the challenge to stay in the top 300, 200, 100, 50, all of which are quite admirable milestones (IMO).

Just remember to play the Brain Twist which gives hefty bonus points as does the Impossible, if you're man enough to play it. I'll be coming back over to the Lancashire locality once the new challenge begins. These Americans are just so so . . . well you know!:p

I'm in 136, and did slightly better this week with 17/20, so may make the next round...fingers crossed.:rolleyes::)

I never look at anyone else's score before playing, neither GT or Mel's AW quiz.

Too much pressure if you see a load of 10's, and then you struggle with a question, as I did yesterday with a toxic shock and sanitary towel question!:D
