Having said that, maybe it's in keeping with America's view of what constitutes 'the world'. Afterall, how many countries play in their World Series? :D

What's your user name?

Can't see anyone from Lancashire has played in World, either before of after the 6pm change over.

You did press button to end the quiz?:D

I'm MellowTM..... I think I did so badly that I dropped off the bottom of the scoreboard. Mind you, what else would you expect from someone who originates from Accrington? ;)

Is it just for 'local people'? ;)

I played the regional quiz, is that the one? I didn't do very well. :(

It's nice to see so many Accywebbers getting into the Global Trivia. Welcome to ALL!

How about identifying yourselves (when name is different then your Accyweb tag) and give a bit on your favorites categories and/or trivia games?

As is somewhat obvious, I enjoy the religion, animal, and history categories. I enjoy playing the hard hourly games when it's a subject I know. I get killed in the television, humanities, geography, etc.

Above all, it's amazing how much you can learn by playing eh?

I play, and it's got to be in this order, General, Geography, History, Humanities, and People, plus all the hourly and daily quizes.

In my class there is some numpty called jazzyjcb, who keeps trying to overtake me for 6th place...but I soon plan to have a marathon day playing all the quizes, and he can watch my dust.:D

I played the easy level of the hourly quiz and somebody had answered 10 questions in 14 seconds!!! How is that possible, when you have to read the questions then scroll down the page?

Its called cheating,You have 3 or 4 user names, then play the quiz and write down the answers like 1a,2d,3c etc.Quite often the same set of questions will come up in the same order.

It is possible to do it without cheating. Although never that quick (yet), I've got 15/15 in 39 seconds, and 10/10 in 19 seconds...and I'm dexterously disabled.;)

Harwood Red watched me play once, and will confirm that I read and scroll quite quickly.

Some idiots may cheat, but who are they cheating besides themselves? Sad really.

Know what you mean garinda,i am sure most of the quick times are genuine.Once though i saw somebody had got 10 right in 9 secs and that got me slightly suspicious! Think my best is 10 in 22 secs so i have quite a way to go yet.

A lot of questions are repeats of the hourly games, which means you don't need to read the whole question.

I bet the 10-15 seconders are real geeks.:D

Looks like some people take the quizs a little too seriously. ;)

I would think the funtrivia folks would be able to find out it someone was cheating like that. My understanding from my team message boards is many people are caught and banned from playing. It can be frustrating when you "hit on all cylinders" and get 15 out of 15 in like 40 seconds and only come in ~7 - 8th place.

My fastest is most always in Religion. As Rindy said, many questions are repeats but better yet, the questions are short. I hate having to spend precious time reading throughh a multi-sentenced question!

Norwich Stanley, are you playing in Global? What name are you under?

Brian
