OK Steve... here goes. Anagram of organise (signalled by the word confused) around the letter p (for pea, which is a pulse like beans and lentils) gives you Singapore. A lifetime of cryptic crosswords helps!

Oh....I tried to organise the letters in "but confused" around "pea".....it got me nowhere!!

So did I at first, and bean and lentil. Then I googled tomato juice cocktails and grenadine cocktails and in the latter list the word Singapore leapt out at me.
