That sound very good in deed

re: Planning Applications
Two things made me chuckle this time:-
Application for a Botox clinic over dental surgery in Abbey Street. Reminded me of the TV series 'The Chase' if you have been watching it .. I love it.. Vet downstairs, beauty clinic upstairs. Suppose if they are doing collogen injections too will help frame the new teeth you may have acquired at the dentist ! Conversion of a barn to holiday home on Dean Lane, Great Harwood. Holiday home in Great Harwood ! Eeew hek, will we be getting an invasion from the South ? Sounds like they are now looking to knock down the Spring Hill club and build new houses there extending down Lonsdale Street and Pickup Street. |
re: Planning Applications
Not that I'm suspicious like, but HBC have not yet put up any recent Planning Applications. Last ones were dated to end 7/9/07 .. they run in 11 day terms and nowt since then ?
Wonder if there is summat they don't wish us to know about ? |
re: Planning Applications
I'd missed the one about the botox clinic and all these holiday homes. Are we suddenly becoming a tourist attraction?

re: Planning Applications
Well, next lot up ... nothing profound.
Someone is wanting to build a buggy racing track, military games and clay pigeon shooting on the former sewage works in Hermitage Street, Rishton. Think we could consider a meet there then ? :D Health club in Laund Mill, Great Harwood. :not_ripe: Application to pull the old Council Yard down in Town Hall Street, Great Harwood for 9 2-bedroomed apartments .. 3 storeys. Finally, Lindsay, looks like Boots are going to get some new signs outside yer shop, and new panels over the door. |

re: Planning Applications
That's odd on both counts;
1) I know nowt about new signs or panels; they were only done in Oct last year ! 2) I work full time and ain't seen hide nor hair of Cashy ! |

Thanks for that Cashy; I will pass on the praise; that would have been Romana !
As for the takeover; we have new owners as of a couple of months ago: that cutting is old news. I reckon the planning permssion is retrospective. |

re: Planning Applications
Thought may be easier to put up the link .. (saves you searching through their new web site) ... for this terms applications .. can judge for yourselves.
http://www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk/site/cu...07TO191007.pdf Seems more applications for houses: one off Maple Street, Clayton-le Moors .. more congestion up Whalley Road road now .. or straight into Blackburn Road ? .. that wil be interesting. What was the pub called that was on corner of Hood Street/Maudsley Street then ? Should know, passed it many times when I was little .. just can't remember name ? Anyway, back to dwellings seemingly. |
re: Planning Applications
Think you mean Great Eastern Kate
