One thing I just remembered about the cabin end.
The ceiling had red material fastened to it, looked like a padded headboard, circles cut out of it where the lights were, weren't finished off or owt, just a big hole cut in it, they even forgot to cut holes in a few of the lights, would love to see if that met the fire regulations :D

Back in the late 60s and early 70s this place was one of THE pubs to be seen in, packed out most nights!!!

Used to practice there with a band in the seventies and was always a great Friday night with some really great hard rock bands, was always on the Friday night round trip better known as the Boys Night Out:D
