Mary Parkinson
Hello,
My name is Bette Holterman. My mother is a granddaughter of Henry Parkinson, wellwisher of Accrington. I don't know much about my family and I would like to get more information. I have photographs of my mother planting a tree in Oakdale park. But she never told us much about the family. I have seen the book of the Parkinsons. A cousin of us, who lives in Accrington has it in her possession. There was also a cousin who got killed in first world war. My mother had two brothers Harry and Joe. My mother died two years ago so I cannot ask her about her life in Accrington. Hope to get to know more about my ancestors. Groetjes, Bette |

Hello Bette and welcome. Good luck finding information about your family. If you remember any more details please post them on here. I do know a local family called Parkinson who have been quite a prominent family in Accy.
