Of course: it's a safe topic. You can meet a total stranger in the street, nod, and say "nice day, eh" (you can only use "eh" if you are a Canuck) and everything is cool. The weather is not divisive like sex, politics, and religion. You don't get suicide bombers blowing up people who prefer drizzle to hail.:eek:

And in Kingston today: 26 degrees .... 5 degrees cooler by the lake ... sunny, with a few light clouds.
