I work at Redcap Garage, which is before the motorway bridge, and we're classed as Blackburn also. We have the same postcode as the pub.

YES PANTHER we had this conversation in the wynsors thread lol we all know its in ossy but its not classed as being in ossy...AND i didnt know we had a Blackburn road in Blackburn either :D

I think Entwisi did the first wander in this thread but both have been sort of relevant anyway so I tend not to see them as thread wanders but as related topics of information. ;)

well as my dad told me the other day, Rishton is now Hyndburn NOT Blackburn, so how cant the redcap be in Rishton if its classed as Blackburn? i thought this too the other week when we where all on about it, i thought about the motorway not being there and then it would have been classed as Rishton but it seems it isnt?
