When did the old Tesco in Accrington close down (Union St)???:confused::confused::confused:.

Bee, if you "spot" a store and write it down in your Shop Spotters book, what happens if it closes down? Does it not count anymore? Do you have to cross it out with your special blue crayon? Does "Shop Spotters Monthly" not issue lists of closed shops? Maybe you could look through your back copies?

Margaret there was a tesco on Union Street at one time, it was the first shop as you enter Union Street from Broadway on your left hand side

was just lower than the Olympus Cafe margaret, had a friend who worked yon fer years, she was sacked fer time off after her brother died.:(:eek:

I don't remember a Tesco but did once or twice assist my wife shopping at the Kwik Save one on Union street.
