Re: Anyone got a child going to school this time?

Awww, well Rhys loves nursery, said he wants to go back there
He has friends there and obviously it's a comfort zone, he been going for 2 years

He is a very loving little boy and constantly wants cuddles, which is lovely and I make the most of them
Not sure how they will deal with it at school mind

My fears and worries were all for nothing!
He clung to my legs for a bit but the teacher gave him something to do and off he went

Here he is with his sister on his 1st day

Hope everyone else's child that has just started, has enjoyed it

My daughters little boy started school last week......he has been wanting to go to school for two years(ever since he started nursery)......he marched off into school last Monday without a backwards glance....and was upset at the weekend when he couldn't go to school.
He loves it.

This him with his little sister......she'll be doing the same thing this time next year.

They both look like proper little men. So glad he settled without any fuss Accylass, it is normally the case. Bet you were more upset than him

Re: Anyone got a child going to school this time?

Jack started on Tuesday-he looked so smart in his uniform but alas i can't find my card reader to upload the pictures.
He loved it and wanted to go back yesterday and again today, but when he got there this morning just before they went in he had a 'cuddle-collision' with his lil' mate Charlotte (they were cuddling n lost their balance) so he cried for a bit n was asking for his daddy.I stayed for a bit n comforted him till he had practically calmed down.......i felt so bad leaving him but i phoned when i got home n they said he settled fine.
Hopefully it's all forgotten about now, and his enjoying himself once again.
