Taxi to Manchester airport
Hope someone can help. My parents are due to go on hol in feb for a month (lucky beggars!!). They live in Yorkshire but are going to come and stop at mine and catch a taxi to the airport. I tend to park at airport but a month is far more expensive than a taxi. My mum refuses point blank that I take time off work to take and collect them, so...
Anyone recommend a reasonable, reliable taxi firm. Travelling 17th feb, 3.30am pick up in Great Harwood. Returning 17th Mar, 2pm pick up from airport and back to Gt Harwood. And yes I do know plenty of local taxi firms, but last two times I have used a taxi to be picked up they have left us waiting quite a while after we have landed!!!!! And everyone knows that once you get off that plane you just want to get home!!!!!!  Feel free to pm me if you don't feel happy posting details on this thread, thank you kind people

Last year after phoning for prices, I was recommended Airtax in Darwen. They also turned out to be the cheapest in the end. They were extremely friendly and professional, and I would have no hestitation of using them again.
They arrived promptly at 4am, and they also check the times of your flights for any delays and weather conditions. Their number is in the Yellow Pages.

i know a very reliable driver that will do it ime surprised you havnt asked lol
i use him regular and even sent garinda home with him one time rindy was happy with his service too |

We used D&D, or DD taxis who specialise in airport transfers. They (he) has a silver Transit minibus and a silver Focus estate you've probably seen the car or van about. Arrived 10 minutes early to take us to the airport (at 04:00
 ) and on our return as soon as we exited arrivals we spotted him parked up waiting for us, very pleased with the service.

i know this no help but just thought i'd waffle anyway......... my friend & i are going by train to manchester airport this year, (did check H.R. none at the 3-30am time) the fare for the return journey acc to man/airport is £16-20 at the min.

I have also used Airtax, a very prompt reliable service with no waiting around.
