Happy New Year All!

My first post of 2006 (that doen't make it any better than 2005).

I would however like to put forward a tip that could work for the rest of you next year, rather than waiting an hour or so for your taxi to arrive, take a walk from the pub to the nearest take-away that does free home deliveries.

Order your food but don't pay 'til it's cooked, then you just mention that you want the food delivered to your address and because they are delivering the food they may as well take you because otherwise they won't get paid because there will be no-one home until you get there!

How much better that is than, drinking that extra pint that you didn't really want and you get home just on time to receive the ale soaking food that you needed.
