Can we get a piccie of the rubbish pile that the esteemed Cllr Jones mentioned earlier? He says it's on Burnley Rd and topped off with a dead rat! Quality!!!:eek:

I have reported the truck full of rubbish to environmental health department this afternoon, lets see how long before they stick a notice on the truck.

I thought you could not put extra bin bags out ? these pics taken at the back of Persia street this morning 17/06/05 at 7am.
The bin men are due today i will just see if they take them all !

If they do take them Mick, please let us know. I'm sure that many people who do have extra rubbish will be interseted to know that the bin bags are collected from some areas of town and not others.

Well the bin men came round at 1-30pm and by 1-45pm this is what was left.................not 1 bin bag they had taken them all
so it looks like if you live in the right area you can put extra bags out ?
If you look close at 1 of the pics they have left a glass vase on top of the bin unbroken too hehe Arnt our binmen great

Willow there is a road sweeper van comes down the back behind the binmen an hour or so later so it will be nice and clean soon.
And at least they take the bin bags away round here

the bin men are told not to take plastic bags but it looks like some of the bin men have pride in their work and wont leave a mess

good on those binmen that defy their boss

Depending on what mood our bin men are in, they sometimes forget to empty mine. Happened a few times and had to ring up for a re-collection. The other week i put an extra black bin liner out with folded up card-board boxes in. They refused to take it, so i reported them and they took it on the next collection.

Well its 6-30am on monday the 20th of june i have just been for a 10 min walk round some of the back streets around here and in that 10 mins i found this lot !! more pics on next post
