15 minutes of fame:
15 minutes of fame
It is said, "The day will come when everyone will be famous for 15 minutes." Is this true? Has anyone here had their 15 minutes of fame? I’ve had my 15 minutes of fame. I was once interviewed by an Australian local radio station (97.3 ABC Illawarra. On the 24-feb-2004) about a local story involving a web site that I have. I must say, I made a complete mess of it. I had a couple of day’s notice, so I had plenty of time to get my act together which I did. I made myself little notes for reference and key words etc. But come the day it was nothing like I expected, the interviewer was fantastic unfortunately I was a complete bag of nerves, you could hear it in my voice and to be honest I simply lost the plot. Never had 15 minutes of fame, but I have met the guy who coined the phase. Anyone know who it is? There's a million ackers for the first person to get it right.

mine was a telly interview after id been clamped at the northern lights car park, costs me £60, to have the clamp removed

I don't think I've had my 15 minutes of fame. I was in the local papers several times as a kid (save Accy Vic campaign) but I don't really consider something that is only in your own locality as fame. I have yet to make my mind up what I would like to be famous for..
Any suggestions would be most welcome (as long as it doesn't involve the removal of clothing)

Ive had just over 4 lots of 15mins of fame, an hr's worth of talk time discussion tv G breeze n a 5 min slot on radio 1's newsbeat.
 Tho shame i had to be a battered wife for yrs to aquire the media campaign  |
