Thanks Willow, like I said I might be wrong and I was. Just be grateful I don't partronise the cafe and blow smoke over the partition at you.:)

Still think they could have replaced the lost seating on Broadway with more than just the one bench though.

I'm just wary of sitting on the one facing "The School Bus"/Ethel Austin's because the cafe workers tend to spill things on you!

I haven't had time to read all of this thread yet, but though this website may have been formed to keep the ex-pats up to speed about what is going on in their home town, it must have always been inevitable that the site would grow, mature, morph...call it what you will.

I have been a member for almost a year and I find the diversity is stimulating......and I'm sure the ex-pats can still find a 'flavour' of what is happening in the locality......if the site was dedicated to purely local topic I don't think it would be as vibrant......it may even have died a death like Hynburnlife.

I love Accyweb warts and all.
