Re: Britcliffe monthly.

According to today's Acc Obs, Cllr Britcliffe paid for the calendar himself out of his own pocket!

Re: Britcliffe monthly.

According to this week's Observer Cllr. Britcliffe and Cllr. Walmsley are being investigated by the Standards Board of England for misconduct regarding this calendar.

Although they claim to have paid for it out of their own purses, it is alleged that they took council employees away from doing council work to help produce this calendar.

In case you feel peeved at not to have twelve pictures of our council leader smiling down at you from your wall, it was only delivered to St. Andrew's ward, the seat both are up for re-election in May.

I think I'd better take mine down, and go and put this collector's item somewhere safer.;)

What was 'nice and polite'?

The fact that the leader of our council allegedly used civil servants, paid to do work for us, to do his personal bidding, and help him with this political piece of propaganda?

Get real, it's outrageous.

If found guilty Cllrs. Britcliffe and Walmsley could face one years suspension or be banned from public office for up to five years.
