For those of you who didn't receive a calendar...tough.

It's the result of your councillors not agreeing to the calendars being funded from H.B.C.'s coffers.

Who cares about what else the money could have been spent on in the borough, when you can look at the pretty pictures instead?

Now you mention it, there is a horse in one of the pictures ... and from some of the comments, it seems many of you think this Britcliffe is a real horse's ass:eek:;)

I recently received a calender through my door from the local area council. Does anybody know why the calender only features the names and pictures of Conservative Councillors?

Might it be because they represent the ward you live in?

I know that's the case for myself.

Thanks for your reply, but it can be that. The Area Council I live in has Conservative Councillors, but it also has Labour Councillors. Bit confusing really.

I'm afraid I can't help you.

My calendar at least had the contact details of the councillors who represent the ward I live in.

I'm afraid mine has long since been recycled, as those councillors just weren't as pretty as the photographs in the Friends of Rhyddings Park calendar.

:D

It does have 1 Labour Councillor yes. Maybe they forgot to invite her for the picture.
