Thats nasty, I think I will have to vote for Bill Greene now ;). I know I spoil the picture but little Emily looked as cute as ever on it. Did the see the big scary version of the picture at the Area Council meeting.

Wash your mouth out!!!!! :D

Yes, I did see the picture of your beautiful baby. Did you give permission for your child to be used in the calendar - don't parents have to be asked these days if any publicity material has children on?

Neil 24-03-2006 11:37

Re: Britcliffe monthly.

Yes we did say the picture could be used for publicity reasons.

Just had a 'Labour' leaflet through the door. Posted by a team of 'scruffy' people climing out a van with "Leaflet Distribution" on it. Ha. Nice to know that the Oswaldtwislte candidate spent her time coming round to all our houses canvasing herself.

Straight in the shreader. =)

Re: Britcliffe monthly.

Well, it wasn't me because I'm not in Oswaldtwistle at the moment and no one is delivering my leaflets right now - I know this because they are sat in my house.

So you must live in Colette's area if you have a female Labour candidate and you can call me scruffy if you like but that is one thing that no one could ever level at Colette. Although, if you let me know where you live I'll pass it on to Colette because there's no point in wasting our time coming to your door is there?

As for coming round to your house to canvas - I think you'll find that there are about six weeks before the election so there's plenty of time.

So basically, you're talking rubbish aren't you?

I think we should aim a bit higher than calendars. Did you know that the Council just got almost £3 million off the Government last week to enable the much-needed council housing transfer to take place. And today we found out that East Lancs will get an extra £94 million over the next two years to help with regeneration, of which Hyndburn's share will be about £15 million. So, a calendar or an extra £18 million in government investment. Hmmm, which would you prefer?
