Do you think he's worked out the irony of his own statement yet?

Being so politically astute and all?

I have to admit to my ignorance once again - old age and transportation to foreign climes are my excuse - please can someone explain who/what is "cyfr"?

It wasn't Emma who did the report.

You are.

Especially as there's not one photograph of Peter Britcliffe in this weekend's Observer.

Not even with Florence Lleweyln-Bowen, up at the Haworth.

All that effort to race up there, and no piccy of the gruesome twosome.

Just Florrie, alone.

Unbelievable.

They would have looked good together, on the next year's calendar.

Though I suppose only one could have be Queen of the May.

So there would probably have been tears.

Regular visitor to the Haworth, is he? He was very proud of 'our' Tiffany collection.

The lack of a photo must be a great disappointment, particularly following his best Dukes of Hazzard impression getting out of the carpark at the council offices.

Are you saying tiny denim shorts were worn, to drive up there?

Thankfully, Daisy Duke's bikini was not on top in the race for the camera.

The only thing missing from a spectacular exit was the General Lee's horn.
