Please don't mention horn, in relation to this thread.

A little bit of sick just came up into my mouth.

What else would you expect from an 'uber-liberal, Tory toy boy'?

So there we have it. Tonight's council meeting cancelled, no motion to abolish the calendars and Garinda gets another year of unalloyed pleasure with the latest edition of Toby Jug Collector's Monthly.

Well done Peter, another dollop of public money well spent.

What did I tell you?

I knew he wouldn't let me down.

As a special treat I might even be on it this year!

You were last year, weren't you? Or was that wipe-clean laminate just there for coffee rings?

I wonder if there'll be any photos showing his black eye this year?

I will have the chance to bring up the question of the calendars at Thursday's Cabinet meeting (public meeting at Scaitcliffe House, 11.00am) although in the distance I can hear the sound of constitutions being shredded....

No, never had the (dis)honour of being one of Peter's bunnies, and being a costly calendar pin-up.

You're mixing me up with Neil.

Re: Britcliffe monthly.

I brought this up in a meeting this morning with Cllr Britcliffe and he said he was very surprised that I would have taken this to Council as it would have been dictatorial to make that decision for each Area Council.

That got me told.

It's just a real pity that this gem of a statement didn't apply to the Floral Market towers that are gracing the borough and robbed each Area Council of a huge slice of their annual budget.

He did manage to crowbar in what a bad relationship HBC has with our MP and how he had written to ministers directly. I'm sure the Hansard volumes which document everything that is happens in Westminster will back this up.

And there won't be snow in Africa this Christmastime
The greatest gift they'll get this year is life (Oooh)
Where nothing ever grows
No rain or rivers flow
Do they know it's Christmastime at all?

No, but the lucky few in Hyndburn will.

When it again plops on our mats.

An odd aconymn.

I once worked with a Nelly who worked for the same sort of group in Brighton.

I can't remember the number of times I told him, I did not want to buy raffle tickets to support the Queens of Friends' Park.

Mind, I bet they'd have done a lovely calendar.
