It's very rare I use my mobile for ringing people, it's mostly used for texting. This also applies to most of my female friends.
In my experience it's the men that use their phones for ringing and most females are texters.

Cant agree more with that Anne on the texting. My daughter texts like it is going out of fashion and as she has a free text quota its even worse bombared for 2 1/2 hours a few weeks back with texts. I am not an avid fan of texting but do it to save time especially at work though a lot of the guys at work would be lost without texting. They cannot just ring at anytime that suits as the person they are contacting might like them be working.

I rarely use my mobile these days and I almost lost my number earlier in the year as I didn't realise there was a time limit on it. It's good to have in an emergency though.

The youngsters amuse me. I reckon that future generations will have mutant thumbs. My eldest grandchild can text for England and she's not twelve yet!

i insist paris has a mobile, true they can be ruddy agravating sometimes but i think essential for women when out driving alone.:cool:
