Re: Accrington Style
have no photos of me from leaving junior school till getting wed (early 20s) if fact no-one has.- refused to have them taken my logic being so the police wouldn't have a recent photo. so i have no fashion shame cos nobody can prove it.;) so the only thing i have a bit of shame about is- my logic.;)

The Rindy style jury is still out.:D Did you have the sideburns and pencil moustache? |
Re: Accrington Style
No, he didn't have the moustache from what I remember although pretty sure he did have the hair.
I'd have to argue with the use of the word 'stylish' when talking about Ultravox - bland and boring might be more appropriate, just like their music!!!! |

I agree, bland. A bit more avant garde when local boy John Foxx was their lead singer. I think it's quite telling their biggest hit Vienna was kept off the number one position by Joe Dolce with 'Shuddup Your Face.':D |
Re: Accrington Style
I went to see them once (or rather I was taken to see them once) you can guess who with - the support act were Tears for Fears, much better.

Let's hope Sean, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Coombes, or whatever he's calling himself now, doesn't try to go out in Accy, he'd have no chance.:D |
Re: Accrington Style
lol, my point is though, that, "industry" might not be the best club in the world, but, it has a nicer atmophere than some of the other venue's in town, due to the lack of "chavs".

Re: Accrington Style

Re: Accrington Style
Don't know if anyone else has seen some of the students recently, there seems to be a few walking round in jeans, shirts, ties (big knot, short tie) & scruffy trainers. They look like thier entire wardrobe come either out of the attic, or from thier grandad.
 |
