Poor Steve Irwin, Really liked his shows, I was watching one yesterday with the kids. I don't suppose anyone thinks that these people are putting themselves in actual danger to make these shows for our entertainment.

Lay a brick through a needle eye thats a shock. Always had him down as mad but not daft around animals. Looks like one of those freak accidents you cant plan against. Australia Zoo will be lost without him and so will the fans of his TV shows. R.I.P.

Was 1st mail i got in my inbox this morning, tho not before kids went to school so they will be gutted they loved his crocodile hunters. Condolences to his family & children, he was a real family man, rest in peace Steve!

well i am saddened to hear of his death this morning on the radio,,,very unlucky as stingray`s arnt usually deadly,though a hit to the chest can be,and unfortunately this was

will be missed by many

Saw this first thing this morning and had a very large lump in my throat. I loved his crocodile hunter shows, he was a fantastic person.

What a loss.....still can't believe it. They say that sting rays are quite laid back, and wouldn't normally attack!!! what a bloody thing to have happened.

His wife was out trecking or something at the time, and they couuld'nt get the news to her. I bet she is devastated.

He died doing what he did best......:(

And do you know, if we could interview dead people, he probably wouldn't have a bad thing to say about that sting ray....:(

Im so upset really he was fantastic use to love watching him even though hes not very popular in aus his made it big round here
