Sadly we'll have to make do reading his column in the Observer, which as Graham points out, is just a vehicle for political spin. This week he tells us that Hyndburn is a property hot-spot. Hardly good news if you are a young couple trying to get on the housing chain. He also says it was featured on 'Kirsty and Phil's 'Location, location' programme'. It wasn't. It was a programme hosted by the said duo, but was called 'Top Ten Places to Buy', and was aired five months ago.

Come on Peter, keep it accurate and topical.;)

Peter lusts for any headlines. Any. If a syndicate won a big lottery payout I would expect Peter to say;

"we welcome this money coming into the Borough. Under our careful, responsible leadership the area is on the up. This money will benefit many people in future jobs and investment and highlights how Conservative are working hard to make Hyndburn a better place."

Oh, and he was crowing on about Subway coming to Accrington. Though as you pointed out, he was still reticent to name the other forty new businesses that he announced had opened in Hyndburn in the last year.

How many of these have now closed or closing down? That could be the reason for being tight lipped either that or he is playing frissbie with cow pats. Does this mean at the next get together in the council boxing ring PB is the challanger?
