Excellent point! There have been all sorts of "nutcases" who should hve been spotted, but who managed to come to power. A certain Mr. Hitler comes to mind. I have little issue with what folks choose to do in their own church, but there are plenty of folks who are attempting to foist their beliefs on the whole community (e.g., banning books) or the whole country.

Thanks for the link, Steeljack. No argument there. I was born and raised in England but I am an American by choice and disposition. I am quite sure we'll continue to have differences of opinion down the road - but the main thing to remember is that we love our country.
