Chaigley Manor

Is it open or closed?  My kids used to love going there for a week.

I note theres a meeting to be held of the Chaigley trust on the 3rd of November and its open to all. Its in the Queen Elizebeth rooms at Scathcliffe house (f you go then look out in the foyer for my accy stanley pics)

Re: Chaigley Manor

Janet as far as I can see you got it right.. You said its now a private house and thats what the article says.. business man bought it for 600k and turned it into a private house..

The AGM is because the trust is still going...and it would seem at least 600k in the kitty :)

Re: Chaigley Manor

with all this money, could the trust not reopen somewere else or would it take more money than the 600k. they must have made a fair amount of interest on the money by now.
