Re: Police! Ambulances! Willows Ln/Ormerod St
Cheers Tinks for updating people as i was at the OSC meeting - which was a good job or else i may of not of bumped into his sis & cousin whom gladly informed me of the news that he was fine, he's going to need grafts on his leg & back, also he got a nice scar on his head he did lose a bit of blood, she says he was talking at the hospital he remembered upto the accident till impact then was unconscious till he woke up in the hospital, he does remember a little bit of turning round seeing car & being hit after that its a blur. She was quite surprised of the interest & that hail marys had been said at her school lol.
Everyone is releived:D As we were going down willows lane all the green forensic markings are there. |

So good to hear he hasn't got any broken bones or more injuries poor lad. The skin grafts will be bad enough. It's a blessing he can't remember the actual accident. Mimi can't remember hers either. I think it's the brain's way of coping with something like that, to just close it out.

There were oodles of police here at the time I first posted and they were talking to people so I presume they took statements.

OK, this is weird. I tried replying to Tealeaf's post but nothing appeared when I clicked the 'post quick reply' button - so I refreshed the page and looked - no post there, so I tried again. Same thing. So I tried again. - and now all 3 of my posts have appeared not only prior to the one I'm anwering but prior to the one before that! The AccyWeb gremlins have outdone themselves this time.

Re: Police! Ambulances! Willows Ln/Ormerod St
I have phoned the police and given them my details in case they want me to give a statement or if the driver wants a witness for anything else (insurance or what not).

Re: Police! Ambulances! Willows Ln/Ormerod St
Im so glad he was unconscious (that sounds sick) but i heard his screams of pain (because i got off the bus and rushed over to him) and i have never heard anything like it.I left others too it though because crowding around can make a situation worse-especially as i had a pram i could not do anything, although i did shout at the guys around him though because the boy was rolling over and they were helping him.i thought everyone knew to keep people that have been in an accident still and put a coat/blanket over them...obviously not. They are lucky they didnt cause him further damage.

Have those of you who witnessed this accident given statements to the cops? If not, I think you should.
