Music Zone

Tonights Telegraph says Music Zone in Accy & Burnley are to go into administration, the commpany who owns them are looking to sell as a going concern with no immediate redundancies.Challenging trading conditions are to blame.Don't know about Burnley but it's the only decent music store we have in Accy, and to lose it would be a great loss to all music lovers in the area.Woolies does mainly chart stuff & does some offers but you can pick up some long lost oldies at bargain prices at MZ,plus many more different catorgaries of music. So come on,lets do uor bit to keep it open(whatever that might be)

Oh no!! It can't close down. Always buy my chart Cd's & Dvd's from Asda. Coz its cheaper. But I have quite strange taste in music & films, so its good for the obscure stuff, including the rare Hed Khandi stuff. If it shuts down then i'll have to go to HMV which I really dont want to do, as its expensive.

Looks like i'll be shopping online in future then.

Knew about this Lancsdave, but feel i have a lot more in common with MZ than the famous roadside eaterie.Hope this isnt going to be a commonplace thing throughout 2007,after all we're only 4 days in:(

The manager of Music Zone is a member on here.

I hope it's not true.

It'll be another nail in the Accy coffin if it is.

...but at least the council are building even more new shops up near the council offices, if the charity/pound shops want to expand.
