Re: evening telegraph news story

so does saying he was prone to getting into trouble but very few 16 year olds dont in some way!

but if you notice, the eulogy was given by a family friend and no doubt things were said by the lads friends as well

the lads death was due to a tragic illness partially caused by genetics
and had nothing to do with cigarettes
and instead of being offended maybe we should think how hard it is for his family and friends who have lost him at such ayoung age.

That's just the way my first husband's funeral was. I even had people saying to me how much they'd enjoyed it and then apologising because it didn't seem like an appropriate thing to say at a funeral but why not? It was a celebration of life and recalling all the fun times and the daft things and the good things. We even had people laughing at some of their memories, and the church was packed with extra chairs brought in and standing room only at the back. I was amazed by all the people.

It sounds like this young lad's funeral was much the same and how wonderful that such a short life should have had such a positive impact on so many people.
