evening telegraph news story

Does anyone else find this news story a bit offensive , particulary the bit about the young lad having a liking for cigarettes, was it really necessary to include that

The news item is simply reporting the funeral service so if you want to complain about any reference to him liking cigarettes you need to find out who said that at the funeral service and then complain to them.

Don't think this had any relevance to his illness Cashman !!

Don't know why you are so offended here Steeljack, sure his Mum wasn't ... just an umbrella statement of a lad who enjoyed experimenting with life and young enough to be a little on the wild side .. why aren't you more astounded by the fast foods .. that just as bad.

He was 16 for heaven's sake .. still on a learning curve .. describes any teenager perfectly .. what a very sad thing though, eh ?

For all we know it might have been his mum who said that he liked those things.

ok let me change offensive to poor taste , I still think it wasn't neccessary to mention the cigarettes, it shows the lad in a poor light
