I was 17 the last valentines card i got so i dont expect cards or flowers etc now too many years without them!!!! :D :D

I've got it tough because V day is my birthday : ( Tonight for instance all my mates are with their significant others. It's a slightly strange, almost ordinary night.

On the subject of V day: I would always avoid dining out due to all the restauarants being overfilled. Plus I find that the service is usually rushed and much poorer : ( I would choose somewhere quiet & secluded where the romance would be more meaningful.

LOL thankfully v day passed without needing a bucket :D

I like happy wednesday better, & happy thursday, fri, sat...etc...happy everyday will be fantastic LOL:D

haha i like romance but my limit was tested when my now ex took me up in a helicopter over Herne bay and proposed.....i said 'omg that was so scary' n he was like 'yeah but the landing was the scariest part' i said-'erm no,the proposing thing was scary not the ride' and i moved Counties....haha!

I dont care about the v day mush stuff - i've not been hard done by i got some loverly bessie mates, had a great day with the kids [yes u read right] & they are here everyday not just one:D

I got text asking me where his Valentine's card was .. OK, where's me bunch of Roses then? Needless to say never saw even a thorn... :mad:

Saddest thing was, during E-Mail conversation with 24 year old son, sent throw-away post-script with "Did you send anyone special any roses today?" (Mothers have got to know these things you understand)' Reply was " Nope, not sent anybody any roses. It's just Wednesday" Have I failed miserably as a Mother, and not trained him proper ? :(
