The difference being they purposely seperate themselves from the rest of society, making no contribution, now if what Panther says is correct and they dont even pay council tax then I dont think they should be given anything.

Spoke to a taxi driver who picked a traveller up somewhere and took him to the campsite. The guy then refused to pay the fare and his mates all gathered round, armed with dogs and lumps of scaffolding pole to see off the taxi driver. Oh yes they stick together OK.

I know they can be very intimidating in groups, thats one of the reasons people stopped going to pubs in Accy.

i think thats wrong as well

if you cant afford to maintain your own home then dont buy one , sory but i dont agree that house owners should get tax payers money to improve their house and add value which makes them money

areas of blackburn road have been renovated twice because the first time they got teh grants they didnt look after them and let the buildings run down agian

as for the gypos

screw them they make enough money and if the 14 year olds can afford to drive new transit vans they must have plenty of money

just off charter street there is a ruined childrens play area where for teh past few months some travelers have been living and you shoudl see teh crap thats been left behind

ps:

dear councilor can you please get that crap shifted beofre the poor sods near it get infested with rats

Why not take these sites out of local government s hands and privatise them like they have with council houses, any takers Hyndburn Homes?
