Cashman..you may be right.. but the old day's when you got a "clip round the ear" have gone..whatever punishment she gets is down to the courts.. if you want justice done at the scence of the crime then maybe the law should be changed.
Too many people have been bashed up and even killed for offences ..and in some cases no offence at all..I do not like the idea that Police can dish out their own justice as and when they feel so inclined... this case is not one incident.. police are public servants and need the support of the public and if the public say this was right then fair enough... I'll say again in big words.
THE POLICE WOULD NOT HAVE DONE THE SAME ACTION IN A STREET FULL OF WITNESESS

the problem is mancie the courts and justice are not married as they once were,so i can happily support anything that teaches these scumbags a lesson,no one knows better n me that the police are not perfect, but neither is the law.

We all know that Cash.. best thing to keep gob shut when the bill are on your case.. but i've seen this one a couple of times and in my opinion it's over the top.. I get the impression that the police are using more force than usual .. at least I hope they are.

Her and her parents have sort of insinuated it. They said that the policeman wouldn't have used such force if she'd been a white 19 year old girl resisting arrest. :rolleyes:

Racism is an easy get out clause to justify what has happened. "Did you hit me cause I is black?" It runs that deep that if targeted for anything from a motoring offence to more serious issues they use rasism to deflect the real issue.

i just hope the police officer is returned to front line duty as soon as possible we need more officers liek him on teh streets who arnt afraid to arrest somone because they are black or a woman or even both

he shoudl be sueing her for his inconvinence and stress i hope this incident hasnt put him off arresting people who may scream abuse
