funny cyfr, most of the people i know who went to prison, never went back, but got married, got a job and have worked ever since,granted a couple never did,but that is not most!! very enlightening are the views of people that aint been around the block a few times.:rolleyes:

No, it's not just immigrants. The big problem, no matter what the ethnic background, is drug use.

Case in point, in my local paper this week; a 14 year old boy from a "respectable" family robbed his neighbours. I court he said he needed money for his drug habit - "Weed and Es and stuff", he was reported as saying. We've also had a lot of muggings of elderly ladies in Warrington and they are all reported to be done by white men.

Actually my views are based on real people, perhaps i've been unfortunate, or maybe you have been fortunate, I don't know, but im not just making this view on statistics without having experienced it with my own eyes.

Its disgusting isn't it, it really makes me sick to hear this, lack of punishment in this country fuels these criminals, you dont hear of crimes like this in the UAE.

And on this side of the pond too ... In New York (I think) a mugger beat up a little old lady ... she was 101!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'm getting old, but I am starting to believe very strongly that the way I was raised - to respect others, particularly those weaker - was the best. Nothing wrong with being a gentleman - not a toffee nose, but a real gentleman. Or maybe I'm just oldfashioned, thought I hope not.

They no doubt posted that on his karma knowing he would 'do one', (which he, as usual did), if karma upsets him so much then he should learn to ignore it and stop boring the rest of us with it.:mad:

Jambutty proberley feels that strongly about this issue as it could have been him as easily as any other pensioner. Its a bit like when we have a go at the ned criminals as we could suffer as well. What about all the outrage ove the damaged trees on Broadway we wernt happy were we and let it be known almost as if it was an attack on ourselves personally.
