Thugs Beat Pensioner.
 

Last Wednesday during the early evening, John Lewis, of Cheltenham Road, Blackburn, answered a knock on the door to be confronted by some men (described as in their early 20’s and of Asian appearance) saying that a ball had been kicked into his garden. Presumably John told them to go and get it, closed the door and went back to writing a letter to his daughter.

Then these thugs crept into his house burst through his living room door, one man grabbed him from behind and dragged him out of his chair, whilst another man punched him hard in the right eye and then the left, leaving him temporarily blinded by the assault and totally disorientated.

They demanded money and were told that there was some upstairs. The criminals took the money and searched the rest of the house before running off with £70.

A despicable act and the culprits deserve at least horse whipping.

And here’s me thinking that the Asian youth had a great deal of respect for their elders. Maybe it’s just their own?

Is it me or have the bulk of recently reported crimes been perpetrated by immigrants?

dont really think thats the case, its definately not just immigrants. whoever does things like this though does deserve horsewhipping.

Wire tender parts to an electric circuit and give the victim the switch to through as and when tey want and for as long as they want. It might be classed as torture but what happened to the pensioner will be torture on them.

It's a sad state of affairs but seems to be becoming all the more common to see pensioners attacked. Having said that, young people also get attacked. It isn't always immigrants doing the attacking, bearing in mind that a hell of a lot of young people of asian appearance were born here, caucasian people attack too.

The sad thing is that many of these people get away with it, they are either never caught or, they are caught and defended by some do gooder who plays on things like bad upbringing, mental illness, abuse, drugs, previous good character and a grillion other excuses until they get away with it...

It could be argued that our prison system teaches people how to be better criminals and the sentencing is paltry anyway. I think it will only be a matter of time before people start taking the law into their own hands for people who do these despicable acts.

I think its 20% of money gets spent on rehabilitation and 80% on punishment.. I seriously think PILES more money and effort needs to be put in rehabilitation.

Prison makes bad people worse. Sure they're off the streets while they're in there, and the victims get 'justice', but they tend to just get back up to old tricks once out.
